The first month of our north kelsey road, caistor project we saw huge changes to the land!

From a field lined at the front with trees that were no longer at their best, to the images you will see towards the end of our slideshow… we made excellent progress!

✅ the Site levels were set with a laser level

✅ Then the Site was scraped & excavated to the levels

✅ a Rough access road & cabin storage area was then excavated & stoned, ready for all the welfare necessities!

✅ Foundation profiles were built & set out - things were getting more & more real…

✅ we dug a Trial trench for BCO inspection

✅ whilst waiting, we put the Rear fence posts in & made them ready to rail. Time is valuable!

✅ our Trench was dug for the rear hedge & sleeper border.

then it was full steam ahead for the next few weeks. The improved weather meant that we were able to really push on with the groundworks andget close to being ready for dpc!

✅ Over 500 tonnes of soil and sand were taken away from site to be recycled into screened top soil and washed fill sand.

✅ we had our Percolation Test done and the Soakaways were a thumbs up!

✅ our much-needed Site office, Welfare Unit and Storage unit were brought in and positioned.

✅ 4 huge sycamore trees removed from site by Finch Arb.

✅ They also planted our Rear Mixed Hedge using sustainable methods - lots of growing time throughout the duration of builds!

✅ the Footings for both plots were then Excavated and inspected.

✅ and lastly, our Site Hoardings were erected to the front of our site, ready for marketing Signage, coming very soon!
