Caistor: Farewell to 2021!
It’s been a while since our last update on our Caistor site, but so much has happened that we wanted to share everything that has been accomplished up until the end of 2021!
Our focus has been very much on making our buyers feel a big part of the process, but now it’s time to show you just how far these two luxury homes have come along in the past 5 months!

So, What’s been happening at Caistor?
We are very happy to say that both houses sold pretty early into the project, subject to contract!! We have two lovely families, with furry friends, ready to move in upon to completion.
We have been enjoying our selection days for kitchens, bathrooms & electrical layouts with both sets of clients. It’s a great day to spend, choosing client’s dream kitchen & bathroom finishes in luxury showrooms, and then stopping for a bite to eat whilst discussing the homes! It makes for a very bespoke service and clients get a chance to put their heads together with our in-house designer, Kim, who helps them create their perfect space!
We’ve completed all masonry work to both houses, with the first floor joists & chipboard flooring finished too.
All studwork & partitions have been completed, with cavity closers installed, and the roofing joinery was finished making the houses shoot up in size very quickly!

The roof tiles were then installed by our contractor, along with the rooflight windows in the Cottage. The dormers in the COttage were built on site, with the leadwork finished beautifully.
What’s Going on Inside?
Inside, 1st fix electrical work was started & completed by our contractor. We are ready for the lighting, sockets & our fully integrated google home hub, alarm system & sound system to be installed.
MEanwhile, we also installed all the ducting for our MHVR system, ready to circulate & filter the air with each house.
We had a major delay with our windows & doors, unfortunately. But these things can happen on a busy project! they are booked in to be installed at the beginning of 2022!
Welcoming 2022…
As of right now, 14th January 2022, we have the windows being installed & ground floor screed being poured over the underfloor heating.
access driveways have been completed for both houses, soakaways & surface water drainage is finished, as well as plastering underway and looking amazing!
Landscaping is coming along nicely, with large brick planters being built to the rear patios that will be filled with kitchen herbs & plants that make the patio space feel special.
The site at Caistor is super busy with different teams all working around each other & we are enjoying seeing the progress each day. It won’t be long now before kitchens & bathrooms start arriving and we can share the internal progress a bit more!
