THE EXTERNAL PROGRESS AT CAISTOR
We have been very fortunate at the start of the year with the dry weather; it has meant we have seen much progress on the external landscaping. As the weather has changed recently, the Internal work will begin to transform. to follow our Internal progress have a look at our previous blog post
the external progress
To rear of The Cottage & The Lodge the Patios have been laid with premium sandstone paving in country buff from global stone paving supplied by mkm building supplies. this beautiful natural sandstone also creates the copings to the large handmade Brickwork Planters which now await decorative foliage.
Both rear lawn spaces are prepped and the mini soil mountains have been removed & levelled, ready for Turf!
what about the front!
now the site cabins & temporary office have been removed, The front of The Cottage & The Lodge have so much space. our ground works team neil and leigh were then able to begin the front driveways, so the Sub-bases were created in 3 layers and compacted with a Heavy Road Roller.
Once the Sub-base was level, the block sett driveways were laid with sorrento tumbled setts in granite stone from plasmor, supplied by turnbulls & co ltd. these provide a grand entrance into our luxury homes, completed with a distinct Border & Kerb edging. both properites will have electric gates to the entranceway providing privacy and security. The Gate pillars are built and the front garden areas have been formed.
The Cottage porch canopy has now been formed and roofed in and the chunky Oak Post in in position! both properties have matt black external wall lighting from city electrical factors & power installations are underway. The remote operated Garage Doors have been installed by oxley garage doors.
alongside the lodge boundary we have decorative boundary fencing being built with Sleepers Bedded instead of gravel boards.
